Experience winter in Tjuonajokk

The winter season in Tjuonajokk extends over March and April – a magical time when nature offers silence, sparkling snow and the northern lights dancing across the mountain sky. We welcome small and large groups with breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner.

Tjuonajokk is also a popular stop for dog sledging tours. You can stay overnight in one of our cozy cabins. Accommodation varies from smaller, charming cabins to our largest house, which can overnight for up to 11 persons.

Here, thirty kilometres from the nearest road, you will find a place for relaxation and adventure – in the middle of Lapland’s magnificent mountain world. You get here via Kirjaluokta or Nikkaluokta, and once there, the silence of nature and starry nights await.
