The operation is a development of the former Reform and Tourist Center and aims to be a central point where people meet and new ideas are born. Through collaboration with companies, associations and the municipality, a place is created that strengthens the sense of belonging in Gällivare. Here, local actors can be seen, arrange events and contribute to making the community more vibrant and inclusive.

Welcome House stands for a vision of an open and welcoming Gällivare – where people meet, receive support and together shape the city's future.

We invite new citizens continuously through the welcome bag, mail, networks and our digital channels. This gives you as a company the chance to meet new Gällivare residents who are curious about their new domicile.

During the year we will arrange activities together with other actors. For example, workshops, accompanying meetings, matchmaking and theme meetings. Feel free to come up with suggestions and ideas for activities that are suitable for new residents, we will develop the service together with you.
